This little "prayer" that I read on a FB site earlier today reminded me of the hundreds of relief workers that are on their way to desaster-stricken Haiti. I honestly cannot begin to express my utter admiration for the ones that put themselves through emotional and physical pain in order to help those in need. The world would be a much darker place without these people.
It always amazes me how we are capable of both - the most beautiful dreams and the worst nightmares. How we can be unspeakably cruel, capable of the worst atrocities towards one another and how we at the same time go out of our way in order to help and support one another.
We truly are a strange breed...
My heart goes out to those that are affected by this tragedy.
All the strength in the world for those who are in need and for those who try to help...

L'être humain un sujet à traiter à l'infinis.
Je suis completement admirative de ces personnes qui mettent leur vie aux services de autres.
Ce qui se passe à Haiti me touche enormement, je ne dis pas que si cela avait était un autre pays j'aurais été moin touché, mais Haiti est un pays que je porte vraiment dans mon coeur, je porte en moi leur musique, leur joie de vivre, leur culture, leur artiste.
Et puis c'est le pays de ma meilleur amie.
Et pourquoi ce sont toujours ceux qui ont le moins qui en prennent plus dans le gueule, un peuple si croyant en plus, leur foi est toujours mise à l'epreuve. Il n'y pas de justice.
J'aime le titre d'un groupe facebook qui dit et qui definis parfaitement :
Haiti needs us and we need Haiti
T'as raison...c'est toujours ceux qui ont déjà énormement souffert qui souffrent encore et encore...la vie est vraiment bizarre parfois
